Internet Safety

The Internet is a fantastic and exciting resource and we want to help our children make the very most of it. Working together, we can help them learn about using it safely.

Here are some website addresses which you may find helpful when talking about E-Safety with your children.

http://www.childnet.com/kia/parents/CD/default.aspx?id=YPIntro ~ suitable for younger children. Visit the activity centre for a very good interactive activity with Dongle the rabbit

www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/topics/stay-safe ~ includes Horrible History clips, Tracy Beaker and ” Caught in the Web “a Newsround special programme about using chatrooms.

www.thinkuknow.co.uk is a good website for our older children

Following on from our recent E-Safety meeting we have some follow up materials for all interested parents. The resources in the drop box are very informative and well worth a look. There is information for parents and resources to look at with your child/children. To access them please go to http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42501748/Follow_up_parents.zip
