We work in multi tiered networks and feel no sense of isolation.
The use of ICT is very powerful not only as a learning tool but also for facilitating networking both locally and world wide. We have all the advantages of the smallest of scale yet anywhere in the world is just a mouse click away.
Locally we work with a cluster of local schools in and around the Eden Valley and linked with a large urban school in South Lakeland.
At a regional level we have work in an Enquiry Based Learning Network with primary and secondary schools facilitated by Newcastle University.
At a national level we work in an Open Futures Network and are a NET advocacy school.
At an international level we are developing a link with a school in Nigeria. Some staff members travelled to Australia to visit schools.
All these networks are very powerful. They are fluid, time related and relevant.
