As part of our work on the Global Goals, pupils at Armathwaite School have been collecting food donations to support those in need. The school community generously contributed a wide range of items over the past few weeks.
To decide who would deliver the donations, pupils took part in a fun “spin the wheel” activity. Four children were selected and proudly dropped off the food today at The Salvation Army, Penrith.
During the visit, the pupils asked thoughtful questions about where the donations go and how they help others, showing real curiosity and compassion.
This project has helped pupils understand the importance of kindness, community support, and taking action to make a difference.
