Christmas has finally arrived, and it has been a very full and enjoyable half term. The children have taken part in a wide range of activities, making the most of both festive events and learning opportunities. Global Goals

We are delighted to share that we have now finalised our Glocal Goals actions and chosen the charities we will be supporting. Throughout 2026, pupils and staff will be working together on a range of meaningful activities that help us make a positive difference both locally and globally. The children will be in touch to let you know how you can join in and support these initiatives. These projects will give our children valuable opportunities to learn about responsibility, kindness, and community, and we look forward to sharing updates with you as our Glocal Goals journey continues.

After School club

We know mornings can be busy, but please try to remember to book your children onto clubs before the cut off of 12pm. We completely understand that everyone forgets sometimes, but this helps ensure Mrs Olsen receives the message in time, especially if she’s unavailable to pass it on.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to collect their children on time wherever possible. From January if a late collection does occur, a small fee will apply: £2.50 for collections up to 5:00pm, and £5 for any collections after 5:00pm. This helps us cover the additional time our staff generously give to remain on site, maintain required staff-to-child ratios, and adjust planned training sessions and meetings. We understand that genuine one-off emergency situations can happen, and in these cases no charge will be applied. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Thank you for your help!

Dogs/Field

As many of you have noticed, we’ve recently put up a “No Dogs Allowed” sign on the school gate. We want to reassure parents that this isn’t aimed at you, as we know you all keep your dogs behind the wooden gates.

The reason for the sign is that we have found multiple instances of dog waste on the field, and some members of the public have been seen with dogs off the lead using the field. Additionally, both big gates have been left wide open, causing them to swing and get damaged, and there has been some damage to the Garden Room outdoor area.

We want everyone to continue enjoying the field at weekends and holidays, but it’s important that anyone using it respects our school property. We appreciate your support in helping us keep our school grounds safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Winter Wonderland 2025

Thank you

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has brought in cards and gifts for the staff over the past couple of weeks. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have really helped us get through to the end of half term – it is very much appreciated by all of us!

Have a lovely Christmas break, we look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 7th January 2026.
